Tempo is a puzzle/adventure game that provides challenges based around the linear passage of time. The player must observe the environment around him and perceive how it changes throughout the cycles of day and night to solve the challenges ahead. Inspired by games like Fez and Journey, the objective is to create a virtual space and an aesthetic experience that feels good to explore and get lost in.
I developed a short prototype of the game during my time at PUC as a proof of concept, to see if there was value in in a game that tackled time in that manner, and to gain experience developing a game from scratch. If you have a Windows PC you can download it and play it for free right here! https://andrezra.itch.io/tempo
